I love green beans!! It is my favorite vegetable. Most people growing up only ate vegetables when they are boiled or steamed. For most black kids, green beans were usually boiled with some sort of pork and probably potatoes. I did not know there was any other way to eat them. Then I found out that I could roast vegetables. 1 bag of 16 oz pre-washed, trimmed, green beans ~$2
¼ cup olive oil <$1/AP
2 Tsp black pepper <$1/AP
2 Tsp salt (or seasoned salt) <$1/AP
2 Tsp onion powder <$1/AP
2 Tsp garlic powder <$1/AP
2 Tsp parsley <$1/AP
2 Tsp Italian seasoning blend (rosemary, marjoram, thyme, sage, oregano, basil) <$1/AP
Preheat oven to 350.
Place green beans in a bowl, add olive oil and spices. Mix until zucchinis are evenly coated.
Place green beans on a non-stick cooking sheet in one layer.
Bake green beans for 15 mins or until desired crispiness.
